• Recurring events and reminders — Set daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly schedules with specific weekdays, dates, an end date, or an occurrence count. Updating or deleting a recurring event requires a target occurrence; changing a series' repeat rules requires an explicit choice to apply changes to that occurrence and future events.
• Command-line management — New commands show app status, diagnose connection issues, and toggle features. CLI and MCP calls now attempt to launch Orchard and connect when the app is not running.
• More command-line options — Filter scheduled emails and messages by status, delete records by a list of IDs, and control map search radius and result count.

Bug Fixes

• Dates and alerts — Fixed calendar and reminder operations reporting success without saving date changes. Date-only reminders remain dates instead of becoming midnight reminders. Due-date changes preserve alerts unless a change is requested, and events support switching all-day mode and setting a time zone.
• Operation validation — Invalid dates or parameters return errors before partial changes are saved. Cancelling or deleting scheduled emails and messages requires a target or status filter, and deleting a nonempty reminder list requires explicit confirmation.
• Connection recovery — Fixed connection failures after restarting an app that exited unexpectedly, improved handling of concurrent calls, and prevented client disconnections from terminating Orchard.

New Features

• Recurring events and reminders — Calendar events and reminders now support recurrence rules (daily/weekly/monthly/yearly, plus custom combinations like "every other Mon/Wed/Fri" or "the last day of the month"), ending on a date or after a fixed number of occurrences. When editing or deleting a recurring item, you can choose to affect just that occurrence or it and every future one.
• Status and doctor commands in the terminal — orchard status reports sign-in, subscription, and per-feature status; orchard features enable/disable toggles a feature right from the terminal; orchard doctor checks the app, CLI, Skill installs, and AI client configuration in one pass. Calendar, Mail, and other everyday commands now also launch Orchard automatically and retry if it wasn't already running.
• Works with sandboxed clients like Claude Cowork — Cowork runs its tasks in an isolated sandbox that can't reach the Mac's command-line tool, so the Skill used to dead-end there. It now recognizes that situation and routes calls through Claude Desktop's bridge instead. Installing or updating the Skill also writes the connection config for Claude Desktop and Cursor for you, so there's nothing to copy and paste by hand.

Bug Fixes

• Cancelling a scheduled item no longer wipes everything — Cancelling scheduled mail or messages without specifying a target used to clear every related record; it now requires an explicit id, list of ids, or status, and rejects the call otherwise.
• Terminal and MCP connections no longer get stuck after a crash — Fixed an issue where an unclean Orchard exit could leave the CLI and MCP unable to reconnect even though the menu bar icon was still there. Orchard now clears leftover connection state automatically on launch.
• Reminder priority now matches Apple's scale — Fixed a mismatch that could cause "high priority" requests to be saved as a low-priority value instead.
